Elite Awards is a Canadian manufacturer. The products we make from wood are from trees that come through sustainable forestry. The definition of sustainable forestry is: Management and utilization of forests to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, by integrating the reforestation, growing, nurturing, and harvesting of trees for useful products with conservation of soil, air, and water quality as well as maintenance of plant and animal diversity and aesthetics.

PROVIDING ARTWORK

The better the image quality, the better the engraving or etching will be. A minimum resolution of 800 dots/inch is recommended, and the image must be black & white only, no half tones or screens, please. We can design an image for you, or you can supply an image. We can manipulate just about any PC (no Mac files, please) computer file you provide us, to add to or change whatever you provide, so you can have just about anything you would like. We prefer the PC file to be a cdr, eps, or ai file, but we can work with many others, so contact our Art Department, if you have any questions. We can scan an image for our use, if you want to provide a hard copy. Just remember that a poor quality hard copy image will yield poor results. Clearly, image quality is key. (In case you were wondering, we design in CorelDRAW®.)
